Tender meatballs coated in a sweet and spicy honey peach glaze, great for starters or mains.

# What You Need:

→ Meatballs

01 - 1 lb ground beef or turkey
02 - 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
03 - 1 large egg
04 - 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
05 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
06 - 1/4 cup milk
07 - 1/2 tsp salt
08 - 1/4 tsp black pepper
09 - 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

→ Hot Honey Peach Sauce

10 - 2/3 cup peach preserves or jam
11 - 1/4 cup honey
12 - 2 tbsp hot sauce (adjust to taste)
13 - 2 tbsp soy sauce
14 - 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
15 - 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
16 - 1 tbsp butter

# Directions:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease lightly.
02 - In a large bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, milk, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Mix gently until just combined.
03 - Shape mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place evenly spaced on the prepared baking sheet.
04 - Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until cooked through and browned.
05 - Meanwhile, combine peach preserves, honey, hot sauce, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir and bring to a gentle simmer. Add butter and cook 3 to 5 minutes until sauce is glossy.
06 - Add baked meatballs to the sauce and toss gently to coat. Simmer for 3 to 5 minutes for flavors to meld.
07 - Serve warm, optionally garnished with chopped fresh herbs.

# Pro Advice:

01 -
  • This hot honey peach glaze sneaks up with gentle heat, making everyone reach for seconds.
  • The meatballs stay unbelievably tender and soak up all that glossy, sticky sauce—impossible to just eat one.
02 -
  • I once mashed the meat too aggressively, ending up with dense meatballs—mix just enough for tenderness.
  • Letting the sauce simmer a couple minutes longer makes it cling just right to every meatball.
03 -
  • Bake meatballs instead of pan-frying to keep them uniformly moist and hands-free.
  • Swirl a knob of butter into the finished sauce for an irresistible glossy finish—it’s my little secret.
